Geoffrey
Durham
Geoffrey has been a friend of the Pentacle Club
for some years. He is a Member of the Inner Magic
Circle with Gold Star.
In 2002 he was presented with The Maskelyne, the
Magic Circle's highest award and in 2003 he received
The David Berglas Award for his outstanding
contribution to magic. His performance work includes
'Countdown' and his brilliant one-man shows. He is
the author of the highly-celebrated 'Professional
Secrets', and is renowned for his unique and
practical lectures. He's also an all-round nice guy.
You don't want to miss him.

Alan Shaxon
Past President of The Magic Circle, Alan is
justifiably one of the most famous names in UK magic.
His regular appearances on TV have been seen by
millions, he has cruised the world in cabaret on the
finest luxury liners, and entertained on four
occasions at Buckingham Palace. He taught Tom Cruise
the sleight of hand for "Mission Impossible", and
appeared in Rowan Atkinson's "Mr.Bean". His lectures
are almost as famous as the quality of his shows, so
this is a must-see lecture.

Paul Kieve
Paul is the U.K’s leading stage effects designer,
he has turned children (and Ruby Wax) into mice in
Roald Dahl’s ‘The Witches’, enabled ‘Aladdin’ to whiz
through the air on a flying carpet, caused ghosts to
vanish, appear and walk through walls in ‘Scrooge’ at
the Palladium, and has even manifested the world’s
first stage production of ‘The Invisible Man’. But
it’s his work on films, including “Harry Potter”,
that many people remember him for. Today he’ll be
talking about his work on both the silver screen and
the theatre boards.

William Houstoun
William is the youngest ever British Champion of
Close-up Magic. He has lectured all over the world,
including at FFFF and The Magic Castle. His expertise
with both cards and coins is renowned, so if you like
cracking knuckles this is for you. |
