Andy is respected as a performer and teacher of 'Mentalism' the world over and really needs no introduction from me.

As well as performing Close up and Mentalist Magic, Andy Nyman is also one of the co-writers and creators of the acclaimed TV shows Derren Brown - Mind Control. He and the show won a Silver Rose at The 2003 Montreux Television Festival - one of highest accolades any writer and Television programme can receive. He recently co wrote and co directed Derren Brown - Live, Derrens sell-out UK tour.

His latest set of DVD's ("Get Nyman"), and his numerous effects will all be available during the day.

A charmingly outrageous performer with subtle slapstick undertones of Jaques Tati, Charlie Chaplin and Tommy Cooper. Blended from a Geordie heritage and international wanderings, this man will challenge your perception of the traditional magician.

Dave's lecture, "Sleightly Uneven", sounds like one not to be missed. It has been described as a collection of stage and close-up (mainly close-up, with an emphasis on sleight of hand - both easy and more advanced) ideas and tricks (some classics and some new ideas) that have been worked on or have been used as a means of earning a living over the last twenty odd years.

The evening performance will be an act full of fun, audience participation, chaotic and puzzling magic, but mostly fun.

David Tomkins (from Cheeky Dog Entertainments) will give his brand new Childrens lecture during the day, and then entertain with his own mix of magic and ventriloquism in the evening.

Steve's unique brand of magic and balloon modelling promises to be entertaining for adults and children alike. If you haven't seen Steve Whitear perform before, then you are in for a great surprise.

Originally from Hertfordshire, Dain Cordean was born into a world of show business, with Mum a dancer and Dad a stage Hypnotist, even the sewing machine was a singer.

At the age of eighteen, Dain turned professional and spent the next six years "finding his feet" with various summer Seasons in the Theatres and Holiday centres.

For four months, he wowed the international audiences at the "Talk of London Drury Lane" with his original award winning Magic.

Dain's TV credits include presenting on Channel Four's "Top Ten", ITV's "The Big Day", and as a special guest artist on "Stuart's Hall of Fame". He also featured on "Saturday Night Live" at the London Palladium.

He is articulate and has razor sharp wit. He decided to put his natural funniness on stage, creating a fast moving original and hilarious show with loopy laughter that gets everyone holding onto their sides and wanting more! This has made Dain a leading performer in the Magic and Comedy world.

MattEdwards is a very experienced professional magician who is skilled in most genres of magic. Recently he won the Ipswich Magic Society "Paul Duncaine Cup" at the 2004 Hickson Cup Competition, the "2004, David and Doreen Chidren's Entertainer of the Year Cup" and the 2004 Magini Shield (Close Up Competition).

He spent of the last 4 years working as a Magician/illusionist in Spain. However, since he's been back he has finished several much exclaimed shows at the Magic Cavern Club in London. These included "Card Symphony" and "Card Idol"

Most recently though he was performing in "Late Night Magic", a stunning magic and illusion cabaret show at the Jermyn Theatre in London's West End.

Mike is one of the most entertaining Close Up Magicians you could ever hope to meet. I was fortunate to see him perform this year at the Magic Circle and his own style of close up magic, always with a comic twist is definitely not to be missed.

If you try and imagine Daryl, Bill Malone and Michael Ammar all mixed into one (without the Ammar laugh), you will just start to get a flavour of what to expect.

Mike has also won the Ipswich Magic Society Close Up competition (The Magini Shield) for the last two years running, and is currently in the final of the 2004 prestigious Magic Circle Close-Up competition
Richard Whymark will be compering the Evening Show. Richard is one of East Anglia's funniest comedians who has performed his zany act at venues all over the U.K.

He is a skilled performer with visual, vocal and comedy impressions that are blended with his own stand-up style that has endeared him to all types of audience.

Add to this his comedy magic and you have a performer who can adapt his act to suit any occasion for any audience from family to adult.

Richard has worked various venues ranging from theatres, holiday parks, social clubs, cabaret clubs, restaurants and private functions.

2002 saw Richard appear on ITV's "Stand Up Britain", which featured some of the countries new comedy talent which he was voted one of the regional winners.

This year Richard featured in a programme for SKY TV. He has also appeared on BBC Radio and other local radio stations many times.

In 2002, 2003 and 2004 Richard was winner of the much acclaimed Ipswich Magical Society Vera Smith Cup.
